Blake Lively and her side-ho project "Preserve," the online store, are officially on a break. Blake started Preserve as her attempt to become the next Martha Stewart, because that worked so well for Gwyneth Paltrow. She mostly sold clothes and lifestyle products, but pretty much everyone except Anna Wintour fucking hated it. Much like Goop, everything is super fucking expensive and completely irrelevant. As much as it pains me to say, this was like the Snapchat update of online shopping.
She's decided to take the site down for the time being and restart it once she gets some new inspiration aka a new business partner. Blake Lively is usually a bronde goddess who can do no wrong, but Preserve was like if Serena Van Der Woodsen moved to North Carolina and started a blog. Maybe she should spend more time focussing on filming the next Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie instead.
