Adding alcohol to, well, anything is one of our favorite pastimes. If you can incorporate basic bitch shit like fall and cozy sweaters and apples, too, you’re doing it right. Today we give you the cider spritzer – a betch’s take on the apple deliciousness of hard cider with the cinnamon blackout goodness of whiskey. This pitcher of seasonal goodness serves four betches, or three very thirsty betches, so like, drink this with friends, mmkay?
· 2 cups apple cider
· 3 cinnamon sticks
· 4 whole cloves
· 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
· 1 shot of Fireball
· 4 bottles of hard cider – we recommend Magner’s
· 25 oz dry champagne
In a saucepan over medium high heat, combine the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and ginger – cook together for about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool to room temperature, then strain out the spices and transfer the liquid to a giant pitcher. Add the Fireball, hard cider and dry champagne. Stir and serve. Bam, autumn and three kinds of alcohol make for a lovely brunch.
