The French government passed a new law that makes it illegal to hire models who are too thin because they think "thinspiration" is dangerous. So like Paris Fashion Week 2016 can try Sears. The idea behind the law is that people who see crazy skinny models become anorexic or bulimic to look like them. Which is low-key the whole point of modeling, making someone change their lifestyle so that they can look like you.
The law says that anybody who hires or publishes a photo of a model that is too thin - has a BMI less than 18 - will go to jail and pay close to $100,000. So if a model is 5'10 (Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid, Gisele Bundchen) she must weigh at least 125 pounds. French Vogue just bought a shit ton of Caltein bars.
