Uber’s Newest Competitor Is The Nice Girl Of Ride Sharing

Uber is the best. It really is, who else do you know that you can count on 100% of the time to pick you up from the club at 3am on a Tuesday? Not your mom.

But for some reason (like, maybe because it's super fucking successful) other companies keep trying to steal Uber’s thunder: Lyft, Sidecar, Fasten, etc. But none of them can quite make the cut for us betches. We want our rides to pick us up fast, for the ride to be cheap and the app to be as smooth as those green drinks we pay $20 for after Soul Cycle.

However, there is a new kid on the block, and they're definitely the nice girl of the ride sharing world. Juno is a new car sharing service that just launched in NYC and claims to have something called “ethics,” because they seem to be treating their drivers as humans? Revolutionary. Oh and they have a sweet office in the Freedom tower, where they welcomed all their drivers with equity in the company and free goodie bags filled with a bunch of Juno-branded swag. That's cool and all, but how does that benefit me as a rider?

But like I said, it will come down the reliability of their service. So only time will decide if Juno will be the new Uber or the new Lyft.
