In the least anticipated book since Twilight: The Illustrated Guide, Kendall and Kylie Jenner are releasing a sequel to their Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia. And yes, there are two colons in that title. I didn't read the first book, because I was busy doing literally anything else, but apparently it sold a ton of copies. If the Kardashian-Jenners can do anything well (besides taking selfies), it's making money off of terrible ideas.
Much like Kylie's alleged plastic surgery rumors, the new book, Time of the Twins, falls into the Young Adult Science Fiction category. The publishers describe it as:
"The story of Lex, a rebellious orphan, and her twin sister, Livia, a pampered heiress, as they make a grueling journey in search of the mother they thought was dead. They will have to face an ancient prophecy that calls them the long-awaited 'twin saviors,' destined to save their city of Indra and all of its people."
Sounds like a Sunday morning during Kendall and Kylie's childhoods where they'd search for a hungover Kris Jenner to save a Calabasas brunch, except that one of them was poor and it wasn't recorded on Snapchat.
The book will be released on November 15, and undoubtedly will be the bat mitzvah gift of 2017.
