In case you need more reminders that football is officially back in season, US Weekly reported that Lady Gaga is going to be this year's Superbowl Halftime show. Full disclosure, apparently the NFL is not confirming it, but they admitted they're "in talks" and didn't want to say much else.
Apparently Gaga has a new album coming out in October called Joanne, in case you were wondering (like we did) why her of all people. I mean, maybe the NFL's just getting nostalgic for 2008, who knows?
Well if the news is true, Gaga is brave for following
Coldplay Beyoncé. We wouldn't want to follow her, like they should honestly just have Bey do it every year.
Gaga is like the BSCB that actually got her shit together and is like, a little boring now. I mean, not that we miss the meat dresses and penis shaped shoes, but we would rather have the eclectic Gaga at Superbowl 2017 than the Good Witch of the East from her Oscars performance last year.
So anyways, this doesn't mean we're going to care about who goes to the Superbowl. But good for Gaga if she can pull off a performance to top last year's. Oh, and none for Taylor Swift. Bye.
