Move over, March of the Penguins, there’s a new hot documentary in town. While real movie stars are busy promoting their latest award contenders at the Cannes Film Festival, Paris used the festival as an opportunity to announce her latest project: a documentary about herself.
Described as what will be an “unflinching” look into her life, Paris is shopping around the film to potential distributors. While we’d rather see footage of her partying from 2004, the official information says the movie will show her as a “businesswoman, entrepreneur and media icon.”
The film will be directed by Don Argott and Sheena Joyce, who described Paris as, "a modern-day Marilyn Monroe—beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media and misunderstood."
Paris, we love you, but you’re no Anna Wintour. We can barely listen to you talk for one five minute interview, so a full-length documentary might be a stretch. The only way we’ll watch this movie is if there’s a guaranteed Nicole Richie cameo, or if she apologizes for her awful sex tape.
