While returning home from the Land of Kardashians (Armenia), Pope Francis made the betchiest comment to come out of a devout Catholic since, well, ever because honestly, there are a lot of rules when it comes to Catholicism and betches aren’t nicegirl rule followers. But I digress; Pope Francis announced Sunday that he believed the Catholic Church owed our GBFFs an apology for the centuries of oppression, discrimination, marginalization, attempted "conversions," etc. that they’ve had to endure at the hands of those claiming their connection to God was too strong to admit they might be wrong.
According to CNN, Pope Francis made the distinction between the Church and its patrons by announcing that we’re all “sinners”. Nothing more true has ever been said. #BlessUp
“I repeat what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says: that they must not be discriminated against, that they must be respected and accompanied pastorally…The Church must ask forgiveness for not behaving many times—when I say the Church, I mean Christians! The Church is holy, we are sinners!”
Obviously we agree because who else would give us sound and unbiased boy advice and tell us when our outfits just might not be doing what we think they’re doing? I didn’t think my Prada shoes were last season. Anyway, Pope Francis made the right call. In the wake of certain events that saddened the universe and made us question if there’s any humanity left on this planet * cough * Orlando * cough *, finally, #LoveWins.
