So Reese Witherspoon celebrated her 40th birthday this weekend, and it was the best birthday party of all time. Normally no woman in Hollywood would even admit to turning 40, because it's career suicide, but if you can have a party like this, it's probably worth it.
Starting with the guest list, it was better than the Golden Globes. Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman, and Erin Foster all went.
When you take a shit load of pictures and you still don't have it perfect so you go for the ole collage post.... Happy Birthday gorgeous girl @reesewitherspoon !!! Love you #TequillaFirst #PostingLater #SaturdayNight #ImSoExcitedToGetIntoBedIDontEvenKnowWhatToDoWithMyself #NotWashingMyFace #GoodNight ✨
Side note, Kate Hudson really needs to get Pic Stitch. That collage looks sloppy as hell.
Then Taylor Swift performed, because nothing says "welcome to middle age," like a performance by a pop star. I'm really hoping she ironically sang "22."
But the best part of this party was when Reese and Keith Urban did a duet and sang "Sweet Home Alabama." Winning an Oscar was cool, but that movie was definitely the highlight of Reese's career. If only Josh Lucas and Patrick Dempsey could've been there.
