Shia LaBeof, Actor, Stevens, and Guy-Who-Does-Weird-Shit-For-Attention has chosen his next "project." For the next month, Shia will be hitchhiking through Colorado, a bold move for a man who most people recognize and nobody likes. He has titled the project #TAKEMEANYWHERE and is collaborating with his old partners Nastja Ronkko and Luke Turner, though it is unclear why a man wandering the streets of Colorado trying to get into strangers' cars requires any collaboration at all.
So how does one find Shia LaBeouf? Well, his "team" (again, all these terms are being used very loosely here) will be tweeting out GPS coordinates for the next month and whoever gets to the end of that very special rainbow will win the fabulous and very tempting prize of having to spend an indeterminate amount of time in close quarters with an insane person. You know, the dream.
LaBeouf told Vice that this latest stunt is "the most expensive and most intimate thing we've done," which again raises the question, how much money could wandering around Colorado waiting to be picked up possibly cost you? Y'all know Twitter is free, right?
Anyway, check out takemeanywhere.vice.com if you are a Colorado resident and for some reason actually want to let Shia LaBeouf into your vehicle, but honestly I think you're safer picking up a guy in a trenchcoat with a hook for a hand.
