Another day, another doomed reality TV couple. Season 8 of Selling Sunset premiered on Netflix on September 6, and we learned some upsetting info about the state of Chelsea and Jeff Lazkani’s marriage. You may recall that Chelsea and Jeff met on Tinder back in 2015 (does it get more romantic?) and tied the knot two years later. They share two kids, Maddox and Melia. In the new season, Chelsea’s told a rumor about Jeff cheating on her, and she obviously gets really upset. But we don’t see what happens after that, sooo, where do these two stand today? Are Chelsea and Jeff Lazkani still together? Here’s what we know about their marriage… or lack thereof.

During season 8, we see Amanda Lynn show Bre Tiesi some damning texts about Jeff being seen kissing another woman in a hotel lobby. Bre tells Chelsea the brutal news over a drink. “I don’t know how the fuck this is supposed to come out of my mouth right now,” she says. “She [Amanda] told me that her friend, who she’s still very close with and sees, lives at the W Hotel in Hollywood, and that he saw your husband at the W Hotel in Hollywood with some girl.”

Bre continues, “I know you don’t necessarily care for me, but I wouldn’t wish this on you or anyone ever. Like I’ve seriously been there and it’s awful. But regardless, it was brought up, she said it, and I feel like you have the right to know.” Purely honorable intentions there, I’m sure. Chelsea responds by admitting she had a feeling that something was off in her marriage. We don’t ever see her confront Jeff about the alleged cheating, so it’s unclear exactly where their marriage stands by the end of the season.

Did Chelsea And Jeff Lazkani Break Up?

Yes, thank goodness. Last March, People reported that Chelsea filed for divorce from Jeff, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. Per the court documents, she also filed for joint custody of her and Jeff’s two children as well as spousal support from Jeff. In early April, Jeff responded to Chelsea’s filing by claiming that he also wanted a divorce, according to another People report. He accused Chelsea of being “physically aggressive” toward him and requested possession of their Manhattan Beach house.

At the end of season 8 of Selling Sunset, Chelsea looks into buying a new home. In a confessional, she shares: “The foundation I’ve built in Manhattan Beach is something I thought I’d be building for years to come,” she says in a confessional. “I would’ve fought till the very end for my marriage.”
