In his statement confirming the breakup rumors, Zach wrote that he still respects and loves Brianna with “every ounce of [his] heart.” He emphasized that he’s been through some “severe” life events recently. “I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways,” he continued. “Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.” The singer apologized for letting people down.
We all kinda saw this coming after Brianna posted a cryptic handwritten message about navigating a difficult moment — a textbook post-breakup influencer move. “And eventually you’ll find out that life goes on even if you don’t want it to, the days will pass and the world will move while you ask it to stop,” her note reads. She concludes: “The world keeps spinning in hopes of showing you that you can as well.” Brianna’s caption is just the heart hands emoji. Considering she usually only posts photos of herself and Zach, this seemed to be a split soft-launch.

As always, the TikTok detectives have been on the case, but do keep in mind these allegations are all just rumors and speculation for now! In one video, a creator shared a screenshot of alleged DMs that appear to show Zach cheating on Brianna. In the messages, someone asks him if he wants to meet up with them, noting “it’s pretty quiet” where they are. He says “beer sounds great” and pleads with the person to “keep this under wraps.” But that’s not all, I fear. Several people are sharing screenshots of Zach’s Raya profile and claiming that they’ve recently seen him on the dating app. (Naturally, there’s a Reddit thread on the topic.) To be clear, we don’t know exactly when Zach and Brianna broke up, and we also don’t have Brianna’s side of the story yet.

Shortly after Zach posted his statement, Brianna shared her own Insta Story claiming that she feels “blindsided.” She told her followers that she’ll be taking a social media break. “When I’m ready, I’ll be back and ready to talk,” she wrote.
In addition to her Insta Story, Brianna shared a short YouTube video titled “Love you guys, I’ll be back soon.” Through tears, she explains that she was “blindsided” by Zach making their breakup public so soon because according to her, they just broke up yesterday. Oof. In the video, she questions “how can you give someone everything and love them so unconditionally through stuff that you shouldn’t” only to be “discarded of in a few days.” Brianna requested privacy for now and said that she’ll talk about the details later.
Just a few weeks ago, Brianna addressed breakup rumors during BFFS, the Barstool podcast she cohosts with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards. That round of rumors came after Zach’s disastrous ~Kanye West is better than Taylor Swift~ tweet. “That was a really bad week for me,” Brianna said on the show. “I don’t wanna speak for Zach, but he kind of spoke for himself on Instagram.” She added, “He’s going through a lot of personal stuff and I went home and just separated [myself].” At the time, the influencer clarified that they were still together.
