Joey’s villain arc continues! Here I was, thinking the Love is Blind season 8 star was the most innocent boy of the bunch, just trying to find The One with that ridiculous accent and aggressively cringe ~nice guy~ energy. I was convinced that Joey and Monica were endgame before this man skateboarded into his wedding only to not say “I do.” At the tense reunion, Monica pointed out that Joey never showed her any physical affection or expressed love for her, and she also revealed that he DM’ed Madison while they were still engaged. Apparently, he was a fan of Madison’s pink hair and “wished they could’ve talked more.” Big yikes. But I fear his resurfaced Bachelor audition video is by far his greatest offense… and that’s really saying something. Frankly, I’m speechless. Every bit of this 45-second video is excruciating, so it’s hard to pick a worst moment. As you can see, Joey thought it would be charming to: try to tear apart his white tank top, writhe around on the floor, make scary noises, shout in the style of a TV host, and serve a banana and ham to a blond girl. (Has anyone checked on her recently?? He better be paying her therapy bills.) After the baffling kitchen segment, Joey abruptly takes a shot and is asked if he’s ever been in love. He answers “no” (I’m shocked) and starts fake bawling. I’m just so curious how he thought this would land him The Bachelor.

It’s unclear what year this alleged audition video’s from, but it’s certainly not recent — he looks a lot younger, and it’s not exactly 2025 quality. That means Joey’s been trying to become a dating show star for years now, which interestingly never came up on LIB this season. Not sus at all! It’s making more and more sense why he made it all the way to the altar, despite apparently never being romantically interested in Monica. (He said himself they never got out of the friend zone.) Sigh. Attention whore men exhaust me. So do all other men.
