Oop! Dorit Kemsley Is Coming For Kyle Richards’ ‘RHOBH’ Throne

Because I like to get hurt again and again, I’m already sat for the RHOBH season 14 return that actually looks pretty damn incredible, if I do say so myself. The Bravoverse has been bamboozled before but it looks like the cast will finally address the 24-karat elephant in the room head-on: Mauricio and Kyle’s impending divorce. I’m of course not rooting for the Richards’ break up (Kyle’s nuclear family has easily been the most endearing storyline for the OG over the years), but if everyone else has had to “be honest” for the past 13 seasons, it’s only fair that Kyle takes her turn in the hot seat, Morgan Wade and all. Will Kyle step up to the plate by choice? Probably not, but by the looks of the freshly released teaser, it seems like Dorit is going to make her. Are Kyle and Dorit still friends? What happened in the RHOBH season 14 trailer with Kyle and Dorit?

Hearing Sutton say she’s no longer “bowing down at the altar of Kyle Richards” because the show “does not need Kyle to exist” is truly music to my ears. It seems like Dorit Kemsley is on the same page when she hits the ground running in the super teaser by coming at Kyle for trying to make her feel like “some fucking idiot.” Damn!

While Garcelle is right, Dorit constantly talks way too much, I’m willing to listen to her complaints about Kyle (and her own fractured marriage to Pee-Kayyyy) all day long. By the looks of Dorit and her husband’s tense dinner, it seems like love (nor Boy George) lives there anymore. But the demise of PK and Dorit is small potatoes compared to the split of former international BFFLs, Dorit and Kyle. Garcelle mentions private texts between PK and Kyle that would clearly be bestie no-no to Dorit. After watching Dorit go full Mommie Dearest on Kyle for “raising [her] voice to [Dorit]” in shimmery sequins, I may be rooting for the woman of the world for the first time since her arrival in season 7. That’s herstory, babe.

The trailer also features Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Bozoma Saint John. Bozoma is a girl boss who made major bags at Netflix (her jewelry in the trailer sure shows it). The trailer didn’t give too much away on how strongly Jennifer Tilly’s friend of appearance and Kathy Hilton’s return will sway the dynamic. But if I had to guess, I wouldn’t be surprised if Kathy teamed up with Dorit over Doogie.
