The breakup literally everyone saw coming.

Almost a year after her breakup from Marcus Jordan, Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen has moved on to another baller shot caller (and, of course, he’s a professional athlete). But her new relationship doesn’t mean Larsa is done reliving the drama with her last basketball-related boyf, Marcus Jordan, quite yet.

On season 7 of RHOM, Larsa tearfully explains to the cameras and her friends just how “embarrassing” the back and forth with her ex is after she “fought everyone” to be together during their year of dating. I never thought we’d see the day when she was doing anything but sing Marcus’ praises. During that year, Larsa was so aggressively my man, my man, my man. And yet, with their relaysh finally behind them (after several “fake” false stops), Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s comments after their breakup show both sides are still big mad about the situation.

After Larsa confirmed that Marcus was “a great guy” but not her “guy” on a podcast in March 2024 (after the couple had already previously taken a break right before the Traitors season 2 reunion in February), Marcus accused Larsa of “rewriting history for clout,” which is “not cute” on Instagram. Marcus continued, claiming Larsa changed “to be part of a conversation that’s irrelevant” and that she wanted press instead of his heart. Look at this hopeless romantic, giving poetry a try!

Later, in September, Marcus wrote that Larsa was “for the streets” (using a street emoji) when fans commented asking where she was. When another user told Marcus to get her back, he replied: “I’m good.” These comments came not long after an interview in July where Larsa reconfirmed, following rumors of their being back together in the spring, that “it’s off” and she was “good” without Marcus.

What did Larsa say Marcus did after the breakup?

In the season 7 RHOM premiere, Larsa said she had to “remove herself” from the relationship that ended up being “not a good situation” for her or her family and that Marcus was “threatening” her. According to Larsa, the situation got problematic when she cut Marcus off, allegedly “pissing him off so bad” that Marcus “sent [Larsa] really bad messages” and “reached out to [her] friends” to say “really hurtful things,” according to Larsa. After Marcus texted her: “When you least expect it, I’m gonna get you back and I could care less about the impact it has on your family,” Larsa blocked Marcus on everything, she says in the season premiere.

On the show, Larsa also cried while reflecting on how it was “fucked up” Marcus was “talking shit about [her] publicly” after she “did nothing but be nice to him and be there for him.” She also later told Lisa at Lisa’s boyfriend Jodi’s party that Lisa nor Jodi should be posting pictures with “the guy that’s threatening her and posted fucked up shit.” Larsa continued: “It was a very bad situation for me.”

On RHOM, Larsa explained that “we went from really being in love, getting along, to me seeing a side of him that didn’t align with who I am as a person.” Larsa implied Marcus’ partying in the tabloids was “kinda stressful” for her, her parents, and her kids, adding: “When we would go out, he would like to be the very last person in the club.” Larsa explained in her initial breakup announcement that she didn’t think their 16-year age gap was the problem, but they were just on different “journeys” in life at the moment.

Even Larsa’s kids advised her to “get off the ride” of her on-again, off-again relationship with Marcus because it was “not good” for her. Larsa now finally agrees, calling Marcus “a toxic person” she had to remove from her life.
