Oh! This Is Why Lexi Wood Is Soooo Close With Her Family On ‘Summer House’

You know you’re that bitch when you cause all that conversation in your freshman season of an established reality show, so I guess Lexi Wood is that bitch! I didn’t know what to expect from the lip liner warrior, but Lexi has given us giggles, girly fun, and getting a silly little man all the way together during her wild debut, so it’s safe to say she’s earned her keep. Lexi has had some help, though, from her mom and sister/best friends, who apparently like to have a good time just as much as the party animal.

Lexi and her close-knit family’s late-night extracurricular activities became a big topic of discussion during season 9 of Summer House, with a lot of her castmates sipping judgy juice. Do I think it’s a little, erm, outside the box that Lexi can 180 from having her mom play couples counselor to raging all night long together at The Box? Sure, but West should know every family rolls differently. Some dudes bring girls they don’t even want a relationship with across the country to meet their family. See, that’s different!

Still, it doesn’t hurt to be curious about WTF goes on in the Wood household. Here’s everything to know about Lexi Wood’s mom, sister, and family.

Who is Lexi Wood’s mom?

Lexi’s mom is Shannon Cassidy Wood, whom Lexi has time and again called her best friend. The curly-headed blonde, who has appeared in many Summer House clips during season nine, helps manage Lexi’s career as a model alongside Lexi’s sister. As Lexi explained during her confessional on the show, “I used to have managers all over the world. Milan, Paris, New York. And, recently, I got rid of all of my agencies and managers, and now I’m working with my mom and sister.” Shannon also looks like a professional good time.

In episode 13, Jesse (just days after promising to stop shit-talking Lexi to his friends) tells West, Kyle, and Paige that Lexi’s mom and sister intervened in their relationship. To West and Paige’s horror, Shannon and Tiffany came over after Lexi and Jesse had decided to give it another go (booooo) and read Jesse down for three hours to make sure he knew what he was signing up for (yayyyy). Like, sure, it’s a little bit (okay, fine, a lot) of overstepping momager energy, but has Lexi not at least made it clear that she’s a package deal with her familial besties? Plus, if they partied together all night after, how bad could the confrontation have been?

How old is Lexi Wood’s mom, Shannon Cassidy?

Shannon is 53 years old, born in 1971. This makes her 26 years older than her 27-year-old daughter Lexi.

Who is Lexi Wood’s sister?

Lexi’s sister is Tiffany Wood, who seems to do a bit of social media modeling herself. She also promotes a foundation for teen campers in honor of Lexi’s best friend Jeremy, who passed away, whom Lexi has spoken about grieving openly online and on Bravo.

How old is Lexi Wood’s sister, Tiffany?

Tiffany is 30 years old.

Lexi Wood’s Family Businesses

Shannon and Tiffany act as the point of contact for Lexi’s brand deals (which “makes sense” to Lexi since she’s “hanging out” with her “mom and sister…most of the time”). Additionally, these three amigas launched a podcast together in December 2024 called 6 and 9, “where two generations share unfiltered perspectives, wild stories, and conversations you’ll definitely want to eavesdrop on.” Okay, this fam was def made for reality TV, and naturally, I’m here for it.

Who are Lexi Wood’s parents?

Shannon Cassidy is married to Lexi’s dad, Scott Wood, who often joins in the partying fun with the fam. In fact, Lexi says, “Club owners, like, know my parents by name,” and calls their family bonding in the streets a major slay. Scott and Shannon have been married for 31 years as of October 2024. Scott is a firefighter who has met “most of” Lexi’s love interests “in a very casual way,” as Lexi explained when revealing why Jesse Solomon had met her parents on Summer House.
