As we learned from this week’s episode, The Valley is hot but the tea is even hotter. Brittany and Jax aren’t having sex, Kristen and Luke want everyone to know they’re having enough for the entire group, and Michelle and Jesse are closer to untying the knot with every passing moment — that doesn’t mean, however, they aren’t still in business together. Meaning the Hollywood pal/client Michelle’s allegedly been rubbing elbows with at the newly revitalized Chateau Marmont is actually good for Jesse, too. Except the guys (namely Jax) have more questions by the pool about this A-list director than Jesse can answer. I will now make it my life’s mission to figure out which director has somehow landed himself a topic of discussion on a Vanderpump Rules spinoff, and obviously watch everything they’ve ever made in solidarity. The Inglorious Bastard has notoriously hung at the Chateau for ages now, and if you watch Jax’s mouth closely (at your own risk) it seems like he’s dropping a single name when referring to the director. Not many directors other than Tarantino can go Madonna status with their name. Thus the celebrity director was the first to come to my mind and Reddit agreeing with me only solidifies my delusion.

Yes, it’s a stretch, but let’s have fun with it. Cooper has been spotted at Chateau Marmont because he’s obsessed with Old Hollywood and frankly would be absolutely flattered to be referred to as a director before an actor.
This is 99% a joke but Michelle does know Lala so we can’t say it’s entirely impossible. Plus if something *allegedly* is going on, her track record on how to pick ’em based on the man she’s with currently is questionable enough to let the thought run your head, right?

Michael Bay is another one of Chateau Marmont’s stalwarts who is known to lend his attention to younger ladies hence literally every movie he’s ever made, especially Transformers. Michelle curiously enough also follows him on Instagram.
One last Hail Mary for good measure. Apatow is another A-list director recognizable by his last name alone and Michelle follows him on social media, too. The more I think of Leslie Mann approving of their friendship as a well-versed Bravo fan, however, the less likely this la la land theory seems.
