Miss Olivia Rodrigo is undeniably the queen of heartbreak ballads for the girls. Even though she’s only 21 years old, the pop star has dealt with more than her fair share of disaster men. Fortunately, she has the superpower of transforming breakups into the most gut-wrenching (see what I did there), empowering, life-changing lyrics you’ve ever heard in your life. The muse of all muses! I need to personally thank this man for inspiring literally all of SOUR, probably some of GUTS, and also Sabrina Carpenter’s emails I can’t send. What a legend he is, honestly. Obviously, Olivia and Josh caught feelings for each other while filming the atrocious High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and they seem to have dated from 2019 to 2020. He infamously (reportedly) moved on with Sabrina, and Olivia got three Grammys out of the whole ordeal.
These boys (grown ass men) are Red Flag City, and I think Olivia knows that (hence “bloodsucker, fame fucker, bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire”). She allegedly dated Adam Faze from June 2021 to early 2022 and Zack Bia from February to August 2022. Adam, what the fuck were you doing with a 18-year-old girl as a 24-year-old man? I have questions. And we’ve known for a long time now that Zack, who’s also six years older than Olivia, is trash… there’s a video of him yelling at Madison Beer. He’s also a DJ, which tells me everything I need to know. These two seem to have inspired several tracks on GUTS.
A happy ending!! Well, it’s realistically probably not the end of her dating life, but for now. Enola Holmes star Louis Partridge is age-appropriate and the most supportive boyfriend ever. He’s literally going on tour with Olivia, cheering her on at every show and looking proud. She included a Louis love song titled “so american” on the deluxe version of GUTS. “Oh God, I’m gonna marry him / If he keeps this shit up,” she sings. “I might just be in lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love.” American pop stars and actresses dating British heartthrobs is such a canon event.
