Paige DeSorbo Is Coming For Austen Kroll In The Comments

Grab your popcorn and buckle up.

We all have that one friend who handles her breakup by being chronically online but I have to say, I’m kind of surprised that’s how Paige DeSorbo is managing her breakup with Craig. Yes, I say “manage”, because optics are everything and Paige is well aware that every comment, like, and carefully crafted clapback is going to get chewed up, digested, and speculated into a million different potential hypotheses by her followers and haters alike.

While Craig has taken more of a “silence is golden” approach (also a calculated choice, but definitely a more demure one), Paige has taken every opportunity to chime in (and thus encourage) the discourse on the demise of her relationship online. One day, she seems to be having fun with the miniature controversy, commenting that she “loves a gossip king” under a TikTok of a Bravo fan’s boyfriend animatedly dissecting her split. When Paige commented on a post Jesse Solomon, a random fan replied “pls d8 <3.” Jesse raised the stakes by writing back “I know what jesse solomon would do.”

Sure, that didn’t come from Paige directly, but it says a lot that one of her closest friends and castmates feels comfortable even fake flirting with her for clout. Especially one who was accused of disrespecting Craig on Summer House. Still, the next day, Paige is doling out sassy rage to those who suggest she is perhaps doing more than superficial flirting, with alleged new suitors. Paige flippantly wrote “See you in court” on a blogger’s TikTok unpacking the theory she was dating an internet comedian. Paige quipped “Ima be outside a lot get used to it” when videos were shared of her on an apparent date at an NFL game.

Most recently, she’s issued an internet lashing to Craig’s best friend, Austen Kroll. So, what are Austen and Paige fighting about after WWHL? There seems to be a lot to unpack between these two, and it pretty much all ties back to Craig Conover.

Paige DeSorbo And Austen Kroll Drama

Austen Kroll Confirmed The Rumors Paige Has A New Boyfriend

When asked by a WWHL super fan about the “rumors Paige has moved on with another guy” Austen had an interesting response. He told Andy that the “rumors” had actually “been substantiated and Craig knows as such.” Not only is Craig apparently aware, but he also “has fully come to terms with that.” I mean, I guess that’s the best thing Craig can do since the Paige being Miss Moving On headlines have been making laps around the internet?

Given Paige’s general activation, it’s no surprise she wanted to check Austen on main. Paige commented, “Ahhh yes a man I haven’t spoken To in 6 months knows exactly what I’m doing.” Now, I hate to side with Austen, and actually, I refuse to on principle (hehe), but it’s interesting that Paige didn’t say the rumors aren’t true. She instead said Austen can’t claim to know “exactly” what she’s up to, which, true!

Still, assuming Austen is speaking truthfully for his friend, I’m far more concerned about Craig’s thoughts in the scenario. Craig has certainly been no sweet baby angel prince over his decade of reality TV, but it can’t be nice finding out the lady you wanted to wife like a month ago is already playing the field with other dudes.

Now, this does not mean Paige shouldn’t live her truth, solely to protect her ex’s feelings. But, if the shoe was on the other foot, I think the Bravoverse would eagerly agree the publicness of the moving on is not so kind for the party left in the dust. Especially when all signs point to Craig being the one who got dumped.

Austen Spoke About Paige On Southern Charm

Season 10 of Southern Charm showed there was no love lost between Austen and Paige, even while she was still dating Craig. In several scenes where Craig expressed his quiet concerns about his relationship, Austen loudly pushed his friend to see that Paige was the problem. Paige clocked Austen’s opinion, calling out both him and Shep for being eager to blame Paige for Craig changing.

Paige And Ciara Vs. Austen

Paige and Austen’s tense relationship actually pre-dates her relationship with Craig. When Austen wooed Ciara on Winter House, led her on while filming Summer House, made her look silly when he spoke poorly of her on Southern Charm, and then kissed her biggest competition (Lindsay) in front of Ciara’s face to make Ciara look even sillier, it was hard to watch, even from home. I’m sure it was even harder for Paige to watch as Ciara’s best friend, so Paige rode hard for her bestie and read Austen to filth on several occasions as backup (saving a little too much heat for Lindsay on the side, but whatever). Paige and Austen have always been rocky since.
