Just as the legend foretold, when one Minkoff falls, another one rises. Rebecca Minkoff is joining The Real Housewives of New York and considering we’re experiencing a temporary Housewives drought, the news couldn’t have come at a better time to hold us hungry fans over. New Yorkers and fashion fiends will be no strangers to Minkoff’s legacy as a design legend and unironically iconic girl boss. Rebecca’s addition to the cast, of course, raises a few pertinent questions. Will Rebecca hold an apple on the opening credits? Will she style Jessel and if so will Jessel actually like the outfit? Is she actually a Scientologist and if so will she hit Tom Cruise up for lunch at Catch? Here are all the deets about Rebecca Minkoff’s new gig on RHONY.

The Superwomen podcast host is also married to filmmaker Gavin Bellour, a creative celebrity director who has led campaigns for Vogue. Together Rebecca and Gavin share four kids, the most recent being their one-year-old Leonardo (an infant who def has a better closet than me).
As of now, no. Reports have confirmed that while Rebecca is filming, her capacity on the cast is still TBD. She could likely be designated a treasured friend of the show, given the rest of the cast has already begun shooting full time, but given the working mom is a self-proclaimed workaholic anything is possible.
The designer proudly identifies as a “Jewish Scientologist” despite the “horrific misinformation” about the religion, but that doesn’t mean she worships L. Rob Hubbard, either. Can’t wait to hear more about whatever that means!

While insiders haven’t shared exactly who has filmed with her yet, it feels like a given that Rebecca and resident RHONY fashion exec Jenna Lyons have some sort of history together as leaders in their industry. Sai de Silva, Jessel Taank, and Ubah Hassan all work in the industry, as well, and could be pals with Rebecca.
