So, Looks Like Walton Goggins Is Def Feuding With Aimee Lou Wood After These Comments

What happens in Thailand apparently does not stay in Thailand.

Aimee Lou Wood and Walton Goggins are not escaping the feud rumors anytime soon. Some suspicious social media activity led eagle-eyed fans to notice some tension between the White Lotus season 3 co-stars. And now, we have some more concrete evidence that the once “enmeshed” actors (yes, that’s actually the word Walton used to describe them) are not on good terms anymore. Let’s dive in.

In the April 12 episode of Saturday Night Live, there was a pre-taped sketch called “The White POTUS.” It was a parody of The White Lotus that called out Trump for his tariffs possibly causing a recession. Funny, and a deserved dig. But, there was a part of the sketch that wasn’t quite as funny, and gave a dig that definitely wasn’t very deserved. Towards the end of the sketch, SNL cast member Sarah Sherman played Aimee Lou’s character Chelsea opposite Jon Hamm as Walton’s Rick. But the SNL version of Chelsea basically just amounted to mocking Aimee Lou’s appearance, particularly her teeth.

On Sunday after the episode aired, Aimee Lou wrote on her Instagram story that the sketch was “mean and unfunny.” She also wrote, “Yes, take the piss for sure – that’s what the show is about- but there must be a cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way?”

Later, Aimee Lou added to her story, saying that she didn’t blame Sarah Sherman, but was just upset by the “concept” of the sketch. “Last thing I’ll say on the matter,” she wrote. “I am not thin skinned. I actually love being taken the piss out of when it’s clever and in good spirits. But the joke was about fluoride. I have big gap teeth not bad teeth. I don’t mind caricature – I understand that’s what SNL is. But the rest of the skit was punching up and I/Chelsea was the only one punched down on.”

That may be the last thing Aimee Lou wants to say about the matter, but now Walton has chimed in. Read on to see Walton Goggins’ response to the SNL/White Lotus sketch.

What Did Walton Goggins Say About The SNL/White Lotus Sketch?

It seems like SNL has a fan in Walton Goggins. He didn’t have anything to object to in the White Lotus sketch from the April 12 show, and instead he called it “smashing” on his Instagram story. He also offered praise to Jon Hamm for his portrayal of Rick.

Walton’s deleted the Instagram story since posting it, but he also commented on the SNL Instagram account, writing, “Hahahahahhahaha Amazzzingggg.”

Has Aimee Lou Wood Responded to Walton Goggins?

So far, Aimee Lou is sticking to her word and making her last batch of IG stories the last thing she has to say about the SNL sketch. So she hasn’t responded to Walton’s comments. Aimee Lou and Walton no longer follow each other on Instagram, so maybe she hasn’t caught wind of his activity yet. No matter what, this is probably not going to help them heal their broken bonds.
