Ever since I was old enough to understand who Anna Wintour was, I became obsessed with Paris Fashion Week. Much like Emily in Paris, as a suburban girl from a state that barely isn’t Middle America, my invite seems to have gotten lost in the mail for the past 30 or so years, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy the fashuns from afar! Unsurprisingly to any of the couture-loving queens, the Schiaparelli show has instantly become a Moment with a capital M (The Italian haute couture house was one of the designers of choice for America’s Capitalism Royal Wedding, after all). It’s not always easy making whimsical look whip-smart, but some of these super chic celebs managed to do so in the Paris July heat! I’m ogling these celebrities at the Schiaparelli Paris Fashion Week show because that’s def better than what I got going on in my own closet rn.

Cardi wore an actual Raven as an accessory so even Edgar Allen Poe would classify this look as a big fucking slay.
Dua Lipa
This is basically if Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove commissioned bridal couture, which is to say it’s perfect. I hope Dua wears Schiaparelli to her own pending nuptials!
Hunter Schafer
She looks like an off-white striped angel. Drop the skincare routine, babe!
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu
Voila, an Emily in Paris star out in Paris! This is a look Sylvie would 100% approve of, except for the futuristic sunglasses (which Emily would’ve def forced her to add for some groundbreaking partnership with a VR goggles company, or something).
Ryan Destiny And Law Roach
The otherwordly boobs (similar to the custom Claire Sullivan sculpted silk bra Addison Rae wore to the VMAs) are not always my fave but if you’re going to play with silhouettes, donning upside-down heels on your boobs at Paris Fashion Week is a great way to do it!
I also need Law’s super-sized Luar creepers ASAP, and not just to tower over future obligatory Hinge dates (but mostly).
