It’s been almost nine months to👏the👏day since Beyoncé teased us with an impending haircare line. And while literal babies can be made in that amount of time, I have a feeling these products are going to be well worth the wait. ICYMI: We’ve *finally* got a hard launch date for Beyoncé’s hair care brand Cécred yesterday evening. Which means we can expect the line to sell out become available later this month on February 20th — and let me tell you, the Beyhive is most certainly buzzing.———

Cécred, a play on the word sacred, already has over 84K followers on Instagram and over 15K on TikTok — with comments like, “I’m so excited!!! My curls will thank you” and, “Already my favorite brand.” I think it’s fair to say we’ll all be waiting in anticipation and legit counting down the days until the official launch.

I think what really stuck with me about the launch post, though, was the caption. Simple and to the point… “Hair is sacred.” Beyoncé shared last May that her first job was sweeping hair in her mother’s salon and how the experience was such an integral part of her own hair journey. And while Beyoncé has officially entered the beauty brand chat, it left me with a few questions that will leave me refreshing my IG feed every 5 seconds. What products is she coming out with? How many hair textures will it cover? Will there be a visual album along with it? What will be the price point? Will it only be available online?? How TF am I going to get my hands on it?!?! So, if you’re also in a full-blown Bey-spiral, keep an eye out because we’ll be updating you along the way.
