With trends like the”office siren,” it seems like everyone’s pretty obsessed with looking hot at work. Now, that’s something I can get on board with. But for someone who’s been working from home since 2019 and now has to start becoming an in-office girlie, I just know that I can’t transition from my pajamas and socks to tight tops and heels — especially since I’ll be commuting to work. So, how do I find a happy medium without looking like a snob?

The exciting part about being a working girl is that you’re not just limited to high heels (I mean, who wants to take the 1 in pumps anyway?). There are so many super cute, comfortable shoes that you can opt for. And no, I’m not just talking about sneakers.

I get it — sneakers are the easy answer. But if I’m going to put in the effort to look like I have my life together (even if I was scrolling TikTok in bed 20 minutes ago), I need footwear that feels just as good as my Nikes without making me look like I just power-walked to the office. The goal? Shoes that are comfy enough for a long commute, stylish enough to impress my work crush, and practical enough that I won’t be limping by lunchtime.
