There are two types of women on this earth: girls who tini and those who do not. I can say without hesitation that I’m a martini girl until I’m six feet under (Vodka, extra dirty, extra olives, to be exact). For those of us who like to sip on the savory side, a classic martini is everything all the time, all at once: the beginning of a perfect dinner, mommy’s midnight medicine, or a foolproof way to judge a bartender’s worth. But thanks to the creativity of some creators on TikTok, the classic martini recipes are now in good company with some goofy new twists on the martini recipe that I’m dying to try, like yesterday. The Best Savory Martini Recipes

The Filthy Martini

Okay, this “savory ass martini” is pretty simple and probably a good tester if you’re willing to step onto the dark side of the martini world. TikToker Michaela Scott picked the ingredients “Tanqueray, which is a gin…a little bit of green olive juice and pickle juice” because she ran out of olive brine. Yes, resourceful queen things. The drink is finished with an olive and mini pickle on a garnish stick, plus a teeny tiny splash of black pepper and drizzled olive oil on top.

The Tomatotini

BRB, I am booking a flight to France because this martini variation has dropped me right into Provence. Our aesthetic bartender, Erin, muddled a splash of white wine vinegar, some lemon juice, cherry tomatoes, and a pinch of salt in a shaker. Then she added the remaining ingredients: two ounces of vodka and 1/4 oz of dry vermouth. She describes the delectable concoction as “if a bloody mary and a martini had a baby.”

The Stuffing Martini

Okay, buckle up and open your mind because this is where things start to get funky. This martini recipe needs time to prep because you’ll be infusing vodka with boxed stuffing mix overnight. Shake well the next evening (or morning, hey, I don’t judge) with some dry vermouth into a chilled glass. Make her glowy with a few drops of olive oil and rosemary twig if you’re feeling fancy and you’ve officially created a drama-free Thanksgiving in a glass!

The Caeser Salad Martini

This slightly (okay, very) outlandish recipe comes from Logan AKA the cucumber god. Logan combined two shots of vodka, three heaping spoonfuls of Caesar salad dressing made with lemon, parmesan, and anchovies, and a healthy splash of garlic olive brine, shaken until frosty. Just in case you thought he was joking, Logan rimmed his glass with shaved parmesan. I’m not gonna lie; the face he made when he took his first sip doesn’t have me convinced this is my new favorite nightcap BUT, fuck it, I’d give it a try.

The Hot Oystertini

We are now veering into bonkers territory, but I’m still kind of onboard somehow??? Alessandra Pizzorni has been doing numbers on the clock app for weeks after sharing some truly off-the-wall savory martini originals. This hot oystertini is OTT from the very first instruction: to spray your chilled glass with vermouth in a perfume bottle, which some prefer to swishing and dumping. Vodka, oyster water, olive brine, half a lemon, hot sauce, and a dash of Old Bay Seasoning go in the shaker. Then, she garnishes with a literal oyster bc, duh. This would def hit at a happy hour when you don’t want to buy an app.

The Olive Garden Tini

This martini also starts with a spritz of vermouth and two shots of a spirit of your choice but then includes olive brine, garlic olive brine, Olive Garden dressing, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning. Here, Alessandra tops with olive oil, black pepper, and CROUTONS. Carbs and vodka do go together!

The Seafood BoilTini

I’m going to say it: this one is truly cray-cray. Like maybe just go enjoy a plate of paella? But if you’re willing to do anything for the plot, this one’s for you. You’ll need garlic olive brine, regular olive brine, hot sauce, old bay, black pepper, and olive oil. It’s essentially the same construction as the last two (spray your glass and chill, then shake, shake, shake the main ingredients with two ounces of spirit, and add your toppings) but with a much wilder payoff. And yes, Alessandra garnished with a little chunk of corn on the cob because, at that point, why the fuck not.
