The Vanderpump Hotel Is Las Vegas’ Sexiest Hotel, Naturally

If you’re a Bravo fan who’s been to Las Vegas in the last several years, it’s impossible to miss Lisa Vanderpump’s rapidly expanding footprint on the Strip. Since her first foray into Vegas hospitality, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, opened at Caesars Palace in 2019, the LVP brand has expanded into new spaces at both the Paris and the Flamingo, not to mention Caesars properties in Lake Tahoe and Scottsdale. Suffice to say, we know Lisa Vanderpump can do a Vegas restaurant — but what about a hotel?

Earlier this summer, Lisa Vanderpump and Caesars were putting the finishing touches on their biggest collaboration yet: the Vanderpump Hotel, a slice of LVP’s trademark moody elegance located, as she puts it, at the 50-yard line of the Las Vegas Strip. I was lucky enough to attend the grand opening back in June, and it’s safe to say I’ve never had a Vegas experience quite like this.

When you enter the Vanderpump Hotel — either from the Strip or the hotel lobby — it might take your eyes a minute to adjust from the blazing Nevada sunlight. After all, this whole place is a design vision straight from the minds of Lisa Vanderpump and her trusty partner Nick Alain, which means that the guiding principle is sexy. Expect bespoke lighting fixtures, shades of dark gray and purple, and of course, a giant statue of Giggy in the lobby bar, Gigolo. From the casino floor to the spacious hotel rooms, the interior design is quite striking — it’s chic, but with just enough of those extra-ass Lisa Vanderpump touches that you know exactly where you are. If you’re just passing through, the casino has a few great photo spots, but if you’re staying at the hotel, make sure to look inside your nightstand for a surprise. If Disney World has “hidden Mickeys,” it only feels right that the Vanderpump Hotel should have hidden Lisas.

Aside from the insane LVP-themed drone show that we were treated to at the grand opening party, my favorite part of staying at the hotel was actually the least Vegas-y thing about it: it’s small! Lisa isn’t lying when she says how centrally located it is, but the boutique hotel footprint means that when you’re walking (or stumbling, no judgment) back to your room late at night, your walk is mercifully short. If you’ve ever gotten lost wandering around a Vegas casino floor trying to find the hotel elevators, you know how big of a deal this is. It’s also a great location if you’re considering a trip to Vegas for next year’s BravoCon, situated much closer to Caesars Forum than most of the other options on the Strip.

With The Vanderpump Hotel now open, there’s never been a better time to gather the Bravoholic group chat for a trip to Vegas. Whether or not you stay at the hotel, you won’t regret setting aside one afternoon or evening of your trip for a proper Vanderpump-crawl. Start at Pinky’s for brunch or dinner, swing by the Gigolo bar for a cocktail (and caviar service, if the budget allows for it), and then post up at Vanderpump à Paris for late-night drinks. All of these spots have great drinks, great vibes, and crucially, some of the friendliest and best servers in the game.

Las Vegas has a million places to stay, but only one hotel with pictures of Lisa Vanderpump everywhere, and in a way, maybe that’s the most important criteria?
