If you were one of the lucky few who managed to score tickets to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour, first of all, how does it feel to be God’s favorite? And second of all, I hate you.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I’m guessing that as soon as the excitement of securing the tickets slightly subsided (if that’s even possible), the next feeling you had was panic: WTF are you going to wear to the concert?
I was able to get Renaissance Tour tickets two years back (the best day of my life), and I have to say, the girlies at the concert did not come to play. Everyone was dressed to the nines in sparkles, shimmer, and, of course, cowboy hats. And that was before we even knew what to expect in the next album. And now that it’s the tour for Cowboy Carter, you’re going to need to step it up and probably get a bigger cowboy hat.
While the Renaissance Tour called for more sequin and shine, the Cowboy Carter Tour is going to force you to bring out your inner “yeehaw.” I’m talking cowboy boots, Daisy dukes, chaps, and everything else country AF. But let’s not just throw on something you’d wear to the ranch — you need to Beyoncé-it-up. If you don’t know exactly what that means, you should give me your tickets. No? Okay, fine.
