If you’ve given up on celebrity relationships and your favorite TV show ship isn’t doing it for anymore, have no fear because you can always fall back on TikTok couples. And no, I’m not talking about annoying influencers who are so intertwined that they share a TikTok account. I mean the normies who have happened to go viral because the rest of us are so starved for romance — aka the TikTok tall couple.

Now I know what you’re thinking… “so they went viral because they’re just… tall?” But they’re not just tall — they’re really tall. Gabby is 6’1″ (6’4″ in the video because a true tall queen isn’t afraid to wear heels) and Tyler is a whopping 6’9″ — coincidentally Gabby’s ideal height. They joked about going on a date after realizing that despite being genetically superior than the rest of us, they care about “heart over height.”

Here is everything we know about the “TikTok Tall Couple” rom-com that’s actively unfolding on my FYP, including the question we’re all dying to know: are they ~official~ yet?

Who Are The “Tall Couple” On TikTok?

Gabby Gonzales and Tyler Bergantino met when Tyler was doing a man-on-the-street interview with her, asking about what it was like to be a tall woman. The two immediately hit it off and seemed to be flirting on camera, causing the video to go viral. It has 4.5 million likes now(?!).

The internet became obsessed with them quickly because they instantly matched each other’s freak (I mean, it’s pretty freaky to be so damn tall). I dare you to keep from squealing when you watch them blush and flirt from the jump. And it was pretty obvious that Tyler was into Gabby — I mean, he verbatim says “I like her!” after she answered one of his questions. Plus, when she asked him what his ideal height was, he said, “What was your height again?” Swoon!

Are The “Tall TikTok Couple” Officially Dating?

Well, their interactions didn’t just end when the video did. According to a an-almost-4-minute TikTok update, Tyler announced that they’re officially dating — and have already been on a few dates as a couple. Their first real date? A literal Justin Timberlake concert where one of the dancers saw them, recognized them, and made a heart at them. Obviously, Justin’s dancers are chronically online like the rest of us.

In his video update, Tyler talks about how crazy it’s been dating Gabby so publicly. Like, their second date as a couple was a goddamn red carpet premier. “Talk about a hard launch,” he says. Literally.

And while the newfound fame is exciting for them, Tyler explains that him and Gabby are checking in with each other and making sure all the attention doesn’t become overwhelming or an obstacle to building a relationship.

“Obviously, each other is number one,” he says in the video. I don’t know about you, but I will be following along on their big romance.
