When Billie Eilish isn’t making soul-crushing music that makes me want to sob into my pillow, she’s basically being the spokesperson for being your most authentic self. Even though she’s only 23 (a baby), it’s clear in recent interviews that she has a lot to say when it comes to all-things sex. Something, honestly, more people should hear.

Whenever celebrities talk about their sex lives, it always feels appropriate to brace yourself because you never know how TMI they’re going to get. But when Billie talks about how she achieved her goal of having a lot of “good” sex in 2024 in her Vanity Fair interview, it’s one of those rare moments when you find it endearing to hear about a celeb’s sex life. Like, I’m rooting for your sex life girl.

Billie’s talked in depth recently about the changes she’s undergone in her life and how her relationship to sex has changed over time, and so anytime I hear her talk about sex, I’m always so happy for her — plus, she’s just always so insightful about her growth and journey especially surrounding her sexuality.

I guess there’s no reason to be surprised that someone who can write a masterpiece like “What Was I Made For?” can be so introspective about her life and sexuality. And since she seems to drop so many gems about sex, here’s everything Billie has said about sex in recent interviews.

Billie Eilish’s Iconic Sex Advice

“I’ve had a lot of good sex, so … you’re welcome, Billie!”

When Billie was asked if she achieved the goals she set for 2024, she gave a thumbs up and said that she accomplished having a lot of good sex. Honestly, iconic New Year’s resolution that I will be stealing for 2025.

“I basically talk about sex any time I possibly can. That’s literally my favorite topic.”

Same, girl. Talking about sex doesn’t seem like a big deal, but it totally is. Think about it — how many positive conversations about sex are going on around you? Thankful for this interview with Rolling Stones.

“… self-pleasure is an enormous, enormous part of my life, and a huge, huge help for me.”

Want to feel empowered? Touch yourself and then touch yourself some more. I promise you’ll feel amazing.

“I have learned that looking at myself and watching myself feel pleasure has been an extreme help in loving myself and accepting myself, and feeling empowered and comfortable.”

Not only is this super hot (thanks for the tip, Billie), but who doesn’t want to check themselves out when they’re touching themselves?

“That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real.”

She talks about a new song on her album, “Lunch,” which is about her lusting after a woman. Using your art to come to terms with who you are is exactly why we have art in the first place.

“… looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking ‘I look really good right now’ is so helpful.”

Self-affirmations (especially if they’re happening while you’re flicking the bean) can literally change your life and your relationship with yourself. You should always feel like Beyoncé (or Billie Eilish in this case).
