Is Dry Humping Making A Comeback? (Pun Absolutely Intended)

Bring back dry humping, you cowards!

It feels like everything these days is just about sex, sex, sex. I know, this sounds pretty comical coming from a sex writer, but what I mean to say is that we talk about sex as if we’re rushing to get to the point — when in reality, it can feel so much better if we take our time with it. Now, I’m not talking about foreplay or even actual sex — no I’m talking about the perfect midway point between the two that we’ve all seemed to neglect. That’s right girlie pops: we’re talking about dry humping.

Now, for those of you who have no taste and don’t understand the lost art of dry humping, let me break it down for you. No, it is not just something that horny teenage virgins do, it’s also something that 27-year-old sex-crazed adult women do (hi, it’s me). Yes, I still dry hump. Why? Because I understand just how fantastic it can be.

If you’ve never rubbed your jean crotch against another person’s jean crotch, you are truly missing out. There’s something just so sexy about having the ability to have sex, but not going all the way. It’s sort of like teasing each other, but it still feels amazing while doing it. Plus, you do know that you can absolutely still orgasm by dry humping right? It doesn’t matter what parts you have behind those jeans. Friction (of the right kind) + consistency (in the right way) typically = orgasm.

And aside from orgasming — which isn’t even the point of dry humping — it’s just so damn fun. I can’t think of anything else that makes me feel alive the way that getting on top of a hot man, making out for forty minutes straight, and grinding my cooch against his erection does. It’s truly unbeatable — there’s nothing like it.

And I’m not alone in feeling this way: the internet is on board with the dry humping agenda and they have some particularly strong feelings in favor of it. But don’t just take my word for it — here’s what people are saying about this beautiful form of “outercourse,” if you will.
