Every time this man shows up in the Eras VIP tent and I see his facial expressions all over TikTok, I feel like I’m interrupting a private serenading. As the entire globe knows, Tayvis was born in the summer of ’23 when Taylor was a newly single lady post-Joe Alwyn. Since then, they’ve supported each other at countless games and concerts, gushed about each other in interviews, and made their relationship Insta official (alongside Prince William, because duh).

Naturally, Swifties and NFL bros can’t help but wonder if Taylor and Travis are headed to the altar soon. They do act like an engaged couple these days, and based on Taylor’s discography, girlie has dreamed about getting married for decades. So, are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce already engaged? Okay, there’s definitely some conflicting info out there. On May 17, a source told Entertainment Tonight: “Taylor and Travis are doing amazing, and their loved ones see an engagement coming sooner than later. They make a great match and there’s no question about that.”

But another insider shared an opposite perspective with Us Weekly on May 21. “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” they said. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”

Hmm. I’m going with the first source, because marriage not even being “on his radar” is bullshit at this point.

When CNN asked Donna about Taylor and Travis possibly getting engaged, the queen offered an update and her thoughts. “It’s totally up to them, them being happy,” she responded. “We don’t know anything, for right now. I’m sure he would call me up and tell me, and I haven’t heard anything yet. That’s all you want for your children is happiness, nothing else matters.” That’s basically all that matters, sure, except we also would also really enjoy a wedding album and an NBA player x pop star nepo baby.

Not to mention, Taylor’s sang “Karma (The Guy On The Chiefs Version) about 5,000 times now, and at the third Wembley Eras tour show in London, Travis threw on a top hat and carried her across the stage for the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” skit. Mind you, this took place in front of 90,000 people.

As if all that didn’t make enough of a Tayvis statement, Travis recently went on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast and literally talked about Taylor for 10 minutes straight. “You wanna keep things private but at the same time I’m not here to hide anything,” he said. “That’s my girl, that’s my lady. I’m proud of that.” Someone should genuinely do a wellness check on Joe Alwyn. During the podcast, Travis also revealed his top three Taylor songs: “Blank Space,” “Cruel Summer,” and “So High School.” It’s giving fake Swiftie, but I respect his candor and narcissism.

With their one-year anniversary is coming up this summer, I’d say an engagement in the future is not unlikely.
