Charli and George have been linked since 2022, and they got engaged the following year. Calling this romance “epic” feels like an understatement. The 1975 drummer and producer often comes up in Charli’s music (“I wanna dance with George”), worked with her on the album of the century, BRAT, enthusiastically supports her at shows and DJ sets all the time, and even participates in her silly little TikToks. Charli and George exchanged vows at Hackney Town Hall in London. In photos from the “intimate” ceremony, they can be seen smiling and kissing on the front steps of the building.

Apparently, it was a very small group that included Charli’s parents and some of George’s bandmates. Surprisingly, Matty Healy didn’t make an appearance, which seems sus. He better have had an amazing excuse.

Charli looked absolutely unreal in a silky, off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood Nova Cora mini dress, and George opted for a charcoal Armani suit. Naturally, Charli did the “Girl So Confusing” TikTok trend in her wedding gown (and her signature black sunglasses).
She joked, “When George isn’t crying when he sees me walking down the aisle.” In the comments, the singer clarified, “luckily he did xx.”

The celebration continued at a nearby Italian restaurant, Dalla, per photos released by The Sun. In a playful TikTok set to “Like a G6,” Charli gave fans a glimpse into the afterparty. Several of her friends, including The Dare, make an appearance in the video, and so does George, who can be seen grinning, holding Charli’s veil on his head and smoking a cigarette. Charli also revealed her afterparty look — an adorable white baby doll dress with long sleeves. “Bridal party energy!” she captioned the video.
