Congratulations to Chloë Grace Moretz and her new wife, Kate Harrison! The Kick-Ass actress and the photographer tied the knot over Labor Day weekend, wearing wedding dresses and after-party looks designed by Louis Vuitton. Chloë opted for a light blue wedding dress and veil paired with an “ice cream” white jacket. “It just feels like me,” the actress shared with Vogue about the unconventional choice. “I never really envisioned a wedding dress in my mind growing up, so when we started talking about what that would look like, I knew I would do something non-traditional, and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different.” Kate stunned in a two-piece embellished bustier and skirt for the ceremony.

Back in November 2024, Chloë gained quite a bit of buzz surrounding her post explaining her vote for VP Harris, as it included her belief “in the need for legal protections that protects the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman.” While Chloë’s fandom found the announcement to be just another reason to applaud their fave (there are entire fan pages dedicated to Chloë’s relationship with Kate), many learned through that Harris endorsement that Chloë identifies as gay. Who did the actress date before Kate, you ask? Here’s a look at Chloë Grace Moretz’s dating history.

Brooklyn Beckham (2014-2018)

Chloë and Brooklyn Beckham met at a Soul Cycle class in Los Angeles. Chloë, then 17, and Brooklyn, then 15, casually dated for two years (with one minor breakup in between) before she confirmed their relationship on an April 2016 WWHL episode. Their first couple appearance on the red carpet was for the movie Bad Neighbors 2. The couple became a paparazzi favorite for their cutsie street style until Brooklyn unceremoniously let the world know they were over when he kissed a Playboy model who wasn’t Chloë in April 2018. In the months that followed Chloë hinted something shady had gone down by posting Cardi B’s “Careful” to her Instagram Story and liking posts from fan accounts that said Brooklyn had done her dirty.

Kate Harrison (2018)

Model and photographer Kate Harrison was first romantically linked to Chloë Grace Moretz when the pair were spotted getting cozy at Nobu Malibu in 2018. Having seemingly learned from loving in the spotlight the first time with Brooklyn, Chloë was even more private about her “private life,” only confirming she was “in a long-term relationship” she “really enjoys” in November 2022. Since 2018, Kate and Chloë have posted plenty of gorg couple shots at various events from fashion shows to Disneyland visits to friends’ weddings.

Chloë had previously discussed the pressure of labeling her sexuality in a 2018 interview with the Independent. When the outlet asked the actress how she felt about her movie Cameron Post being used as an example of a straight woman overstepping in a role a gay character, Chloë replied, “Well I think what’s important is don’t assume anyone’s sexuality” as it is “unfair” “across the board.”

Chloë and Kate exchanged vows over Labor Day weekend in 2025, and their wedding looks were featured in Vogue. “We’ve been together for almost seven years and making this promise to each other in a new way, and exchanging these vows,” Chloë told the outlet. “I think it’s important to just stay every day choosing each other.”
