Your grandma’s favorite show is officially back for season 33! I definitely recommend tuning in for this season of Dancing With the Stars, because you don’t wanna miss your favorite Olympians, Bachelor and Bachelorette stars, actors, athletes, and con artist queen (hi Anna) tearing up that ballroom floor. Although it’s only the first week and most of them are brand new to dance, this intriguing mix of celebs kind of ate their performances last night. Sure, there are already professional judges, but what opinion really matters besides mine? Here are the top five dances from the season 33 premiere of Dancing With the Stars.

The Top 5 Dances From The First Night Of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33

Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong

You’re telling me Chandler’s not a pro?? What the fuck? This tango to “Hot to Go!” by Chappell Roan looked totally effortless for her, and I suppose that’s why this pair earned an impressive score of 23/30. Impeccable song choice. Gorgeous kicks and footwork. No notes from me, the dance expert.

Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold

GO STEPHEN! Thank god Pommel Horse King isn’t leaving our screens after the Olympics. The icon and his pro parter performed a super high-energy jive to “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen, and I predict Stephen’s high kick, flipping abilities, and big-ass smile are gonna take him far in this competition. They received a score of 21/30 from the judges (but a perfect score from me).

Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach

Listen, I didn’t necessarily think Dwight was gonna be the best of the celeb bunch, but that man had a sparkly basketball, a natural ability to groove, and a dream. He crushed the salsa to “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan! The judges gave this duo a well-deserved 22/30.

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson

Um, Joey, where have you been hiding this insane musicality and smooth hip roll? The former Bachelor unbuttoned his shirt, threw on a cowboy hat, and low-key blew me away with his cha-cha to “Dancin’ in the Country” by Tyler Hubbard. The judges gave it a 21/30, which I think is too low.

Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber

Okay, I know she was a little stiff, but I’m kind of obsessed with this Miley Cyrus moment from Jenn. She and Sasha performed the cha-cha to “Flowers,” and when she hit those poses, it looked fierce! They got a score of 19/30 from the judges. Plus, Jonathan Johnson was in the audience to cheer her on… I need to know what’s happening there.
