It’s been a rollercoaster since Love Island USA season 6 began and if week 2 was any indication the twists and tricks don’t promise to slow down any time soon. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: this is Love Island USA’s year, and it’s not just because of Ariana Madix (though being that hot and well-dressed certainly helps). Much of the drama has been at the hands of one Leah Kateb, who started out as a fan fave and has evolved it to consistent the eye of multiple storms. Leah started off in a hot and heavy couple with Rob that crashed and burned hotter than the discourse around the firepit. Now that she moved on to plucking Connor out of JaNa’s lap and then shockingly laying the groundwork to ditch him the moment he saved her in a couple I have a lot of questions. Firstly, who the heck is this girl, and secondly how dare she? With that in mind let’s get back to basics and take a look at everything we know about Leah Kateb from Love Island USA.
Leah is 24 years old. Her birthday is November 28, 1999, which makes her a Sagittarius. Sags are known for lighting up a room with their free spirit energy and NSFW jokes but they also are so flexible that their mood expression can flip on a dime from playful to dropping to biting without proper warning. Loyal to a fault but maybe a little bit of an arrogant know-it-all? Yep, sounds about right here.

Leah is listed as a “college student” though no trace of where she’s getting her education can be found on the internet. She’s a California girl who still lives in Calabasas with her parents, so it’s possible she’s in school online.
Leah first coupled up with Rob on day one of Love Island. Everything was moving along nicely until a bombshell entered The Villa, which unfortunately is just the name of the game. To use Leah’s own words, Rob is “not her boyfriend” so when he gave her the heads up that he was interested in getting to know newbie Andrea, he had every right to do so. Still, Leah was thus left with two options: kick up a major fuss or let the new connection play out. Naturally, she went with the former, which pushed Rob further into Andrea’s arms. At the next recoupling, Leah paired up with Connor who had previously given Islanders the impression he only had eyes for his partner JaNa until the second Leah became single. Don’t worry though, karma moves hella quickly in Fiji. At the start of week three, literal seconds after recoupling with Connor, Leah admitted to the girls she already has the ick. To make matters worse (read: far more entertaining) Andrea got kicked out of The Villa in a shocking dumping and now Rob may leave too. Can 6PM come any sooner?
