Lindsay Hubbard Put Her Man “On Pause” 5 Months After Welcoming Baby
While I was most certain we’d get to see West Wilson squirm on camera from his rightful place in Ciara’s dog house, the ninth season of Summer House delivered plenty of other drama. One such nugget of entertaining nonsense? Carl’s having to deal with Lindsay after calling off their wedding in slow motion (and refusing to say it with his chest at the reunion). And, because this is Summer House, the entire cast, not just Carl, had a lot of questions about how Lindsay got from point A (being engaged to Carl) to point B (having a baby with a new dude from a new relationship).
Did they ask Lindsay for the receipts, proof, timeline, and everything to her face? Not really, so let me provide the answers for the rest of the class, especially since Turner and Lindsay are already off?! UPDATE: June 2025 — Lindsay announces her romantic relationship with Turner is on pause
Lindsay revealed during part 2 of the Summer House reunion that Turner is on “pause, for now” when it comes to being in “a romantic relationship,” even though they remain “co-parents” and “an amazing team.” When Kyle decided to be nosey (thank God!) and ask exactly when the pause happened, Lindsay said “a few months ago.” The reunion was filmed in April 2025, so that dates their potentially temporary breakup to early 2025, right around when the rumors started dropping that they didn’t live together.

On the reunion couch, Lindsay confirmed this was the reason Turner never moved in, but Turner is still “spending the night half the week.” The cast, Andy Cohen, and myself, frankly, were hella impressed that despite the shift, Lindsay and Turner remain “the best friend friends” who “tag team” being parents, taking care of Gemma, and even going to brunch. Even though Lindsay confirmed she and Turner are “not friends with benefits,” she’s not dating other people, and for the time being, she “does not think” her ex is either.
Worth noting Lindsay did repeat that she’ll have to see what the future holds, soooo, maybe this love story needs the long run.

Lindsay explained that “at this very second,” her relationship had “too much” for the couple “to figure out when it comes to parenting, co-parenting,” and their different lifestyles with Lindsay “being public” and Turner “being private.” Lindsay agreed with Andy during the reunion that her public persona has caused tension between her and her ex: “It’s a struggle, you know. Dad is private, Mom is public, and what does that make baby?” Lindsay believes even if she were to quit Bravo, she’s still always going to be “Lindsay from Summer House.”
Gabby, who was the only cast member filled in on the sticky sitch, called the break “a mature decision” since Lindsay recognizes “Turner is such a great dad to Gemma, but he’s not the person romantically for me.” Gabby says Lindsay shared with her, “I’m going to find someone else who can be the man for me,” while Turner continues to slay as Gemma’s dad.
August 2023: Carl Calls Off The Wedding

Three months before the planned nuptials, and two years after their whirlwind second-chance romance, Carl called the Summer House cameras to break up with Lindsay once and for all (sorry Andy, still not buying the producers intuited that conversation was going to happen that day after filming wrapped and Carl conveniently filmed a prior scene with Kyle). The good news is, as Andy also said, watching it back, it was clear wedded bliss was not in this pair’s future.
November 2023: The Girls’ Trip To Mexico
Instead of getting married on November 17, Lindsay and a bunch of her besties took their nonrefundable plane tickets to their booked hotel rooms in Mexico to celebrate life (not #morelife though). Naturally, Carl didn’t attend, though his parents went through with the trip. He and Lindsay were not on good terms and beefing at Carl trying to get out of their very expensive apartment lease, which would be a topic of discussion at the season 8 reunion.
December 2023: Turner Reconnects With Lindsay

Four months after her relationship ended (and that’s not counting the summer from hell) Lindsay got a text in mid-December from an old flame (totally proving “they always come back” concept right). Turner Kufe, a man Lindsay had briefly dated in 2020, circled the block to see what Hubbhouse was up to. Lindsay explained on Not Skinny But Not Fat that it hadn’t worked out the first time “after three or four dates” because “he just wasn’t in a place to be in a relationship and didn’t want to waste her time.” But even though the timing was wrong, they had “hit it off” three and half years earlier, she told Jackie Schimmel of The Bitch Bible, so she was open to it.

After the holidays Lindsay decided to return Turner’s text and they started seeing each other. (For those keeping count, that’s almost five months after her canceled engagement, so not exactly an overnight decision).
March 2024: Lindsay Gets Pregnant
Lindsay got pregnant by surprise, though she and Turner both knew she wasn’t on birth control and were relying on the pull out method. Not to say your eighth-grade health teacher was right about everything, but just FYI, it can happen, folks!
April 2024: Lindsay finds out she is pregnant

After “two months” of dating and “one month” of serious boyfriend/girlfriend status (per Lindsay’s interview on the NSBNF pod) Lindsay and Turner got pregnant. As clarified on Lindsay’s timeline IG post after the pregnancy announcement, she first found out on April 6, 2024, en route to a destination wedding in Mexico. Lindsay told her boyfriend the news after she got back from the trip and was “terrified” to break the news, giving him “every possible out,” but they decided to “do this together” despite the relationship being so new. They took an engagement and marriage off the table to focus on the baby. Lindsay was already five weeks pregnant at this point and publicly played it very cool on the status of her love life.
May 3, 2024: Summer House Season Eight Reunion
Without anyone (including Gabby) knowing Lindsay filmed the intense reunion around three months pregnant. How she concealed the bump while baring those abs I’ll never know.
July 2024: Lindsay announces her pregnancy
Lindsay posted the big announcement on Instagram while filming the first weekend of Summer House season 9. The first to congratulate her from her cast were Gabby, Andrea, and Sam, followed by Kyle and Amanda. At this point, Lindsay wasn’t down to reveal who the father was, but Turner’s name got out there via the Bravo blogs anyway.
December 2024: Lindsay has Baby Gemma
On December 11, 2024, Lindsay posted she could finally eat deli meat again because Baby Gemma had arrived (some very relatable hungry girl spon con, and separately, one of several reasons IDK if I’m cut out for childbearing). A few days later, she shared a carousel of her hospital experience.
February 2025: Lindsay says she doesn’t live with Turner yet
In an interview with E! News released on Feb 8, Lindsay shared that she and Turner still don’t live together. She explained this was because she had just resigned her lease in March of 2024, and with the surprise pregnancy, “wanted to take the pressure off in every other department.” Though in the E! interview Lindsay said conversations about moving in could now begin, she told Housewives Nightcap on a Feb 6 episode that she wasn’t “putting the pressure on the romantic department” solely because they have a baby together. Lindsay was focusing on making sure her “romantic relationship is compatible and is gonna go the distance” before taking next steps romantically.
But the same week, DeuxMoi’s podcast, DeuxU, claimed that they had intel from a source alleging Lindsay and her boyfriend had actually broken up. The unfortunate, unconfirmed allegations dropped on a February 6 podcast episode were stated without a reason for the breakup. Shortly after, outlets discovered that Turner no longer appeared in Lindsay’s followed accounts on Instagram, though it’s not 100% clear when she apparently made the decision to unfollow. Turner was never tagged in any of Lindsay’s posts, as she’s stated several times he’s a private guy, so maybe the move was simply to protect his identity further?
