Aside from having your story straight, the most important thing you can prepare when you’re sitting down for a major reality TV reunion is your outfit. The season 6 cast of Love Island USA is a group of unapologetic loudmouths who stole our hearts, finally putting the now most-watched show of the year on the map after the UK version’s longstanding dominance. So I guess it should be no surprise this gang continued to break the mold when it came to the reunion red carpet. After seeing the… umm (how do I put it nicely?)… colorful range of dresses and suits on deck, the internet is getting a spidey-sense that our Fiji chums probably dressed themselves as opposed to giving a professional stylist a ring. It sure doesn’t look like some of the cohesive slays we’ve come to expect from other reality TV casts. But we do know one thing for sure: everybody’s so creative! Ranking the Love Island USA season 6 reunion looks, because what else do I have to do until the August 19 reunion?
Objectively, this dress simply doesn’t fit. Hannah has a bombshell figure and would’ve done herself a huge favor by choosing something that catered to her curves instead of this corset. The satin is not reading as expensive on camera as I’m sure it did in the mirror but hey, Barbie pink is never out of style, so it’s not all bad.

Someone get this booted Islander a steamer, pronto! And maybe a wide-tooth comb to loosen up those babydoll curls. Still the best eyebrows in the game, though.
There’s so much extra fabric here in need of a home that isn’t on this dress.

It’s hard to determine if this print is a floral pattern or a science project gone wrong, but the silhouette is at least timeless and cute.
When I first saw this dress I only had one question: Why? From this angle, I can kinda sorta see the vision but Nicole deserved more for sure (not more fabric, but more umph). I will say, the glam is God tier.

It’s like Ariana Madix’s last two reunion dresses had a baby and then that baby ran away to join Cirque du Soleil in Vegas. Imagine all of this gorgeous hair not yanked to high heaven in a ponytail? Almost there, Kaylor girl.

I’m far from a Leah stan but I can give her credit when it’s due. In the villa, she usually ran with sexy looks that perfectly fit her body and vibe. So I’m confused about where this Hot Topic/Ed Hardy capsule collection gown came from, but it doesn’t look bad, if severely under-styled.
Though the amount of cheetah print on this carpet is driving me wild, the overall execution of this look is nearly flawless.
It’s simple, it’s chic, and the lashes are lashing. Was I hoping for a loud color (cough like the trademark matching green she and Kordell entered the villa with cough) to make some melanin magic? Yes, I was. But this will do.
I feel like Kim Kardashian would wear this entire look which is both a compliment on how expensive and fitted it is, but a knock on a lack of creativity. JaNa is a gorgeous gorgeous girl with a big future, so she’ll have plenty of future red carpets to hit that 10/10 mark.
Okay Serena Van Der Woodsen slay!!! This dress looks so much better in motion than stationary (which is something a stylist could’ve warned her about) that seeing the walking photos landed Liv in the number one spot. I can definitely see the very angelic vision and I am wishing this girl’s girl a killer reunion night.
Sorry to this man but I can barely recall who he is (FYI he’s the one that was mad Liv was crying about sending her friends home instead of comforting him). Which begs the question: what did Caine do to have to be blacklisted from this reunion when Nigel got a call? Regardless, this Banana Republic clearance rack slay has to come in last for me, purely based on laziness alone.
This is thee perfect outfit to let every woman in America who desires a drop of peace know that she should stay a million miles away, so well done Hakim! Look not complete without the furrowed eyebrows and double peace signs, ofc.
This could’ve been sooooo good with pants that were actually a complementary color and a suit jacket Harrison could take a full breath in. The pocket square detail? This man is ready to be someone’s forever plus one!

This is giving Bond, James Bond, and now I’m laughing at the prospect of Kenny trying to complete a secret mission without breaking out into giggles.
The maximalist in me has to reward this bonkers layering masterpiece from the fuzzy camo cowboy hat to the Gen-Z ankle socks. I want to borrow those shoes and wear them everywhere. In fact, I’d wear this exact outfit as is, which must mean it’s the perfect Carrie Bradshaw streetwear core.
This is sleek, summery, and perfectly tailored. No notes.
I know, I know, but I can’t deny the truth! Rob used his reunion fit as a chance to capitalize on branding which most of his castmates seemingly forgot was an option, making the Rob Kabobs very proud. Meanwhile, Aaron’s double-breasted pinstripe suit was a weird Peaky Blinders swing that unfortunately hit. TBH the least he could do was look dapper with his toes to the fire.
Honestly, justice for Coye. I get why JaNa dumped him but this outfit confirms Mr. 6’7″ has a lot more to offer the thirsty public (me). Love Island season 7, anyone?
