My guardian angels are working overtime because in the best bit of reality TV news this week, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are having a REUNION for season 2!!! I thought my girlies were possibly dropping another 10 iconic episodes, but apparently, Hulu decided to hit us with a big ol’ update in one dramatic sitting, and I truly couldn’t be more delighted. I need answers to absolutely freaking everything: where does Taylor stand with Dakota? Where does Demi stand with Taylor, and like, everyone? Has Mikayla made eye contact with Whitney since the finale?? What the hell went down between Jessi and Marciano when he snuck out of Scheana’s house??? And possibly, most importantly, who took home all of those dildos after the sex positivity party?!?!
Luckily, I have a feeling these and even messier questions will be pushed onto the Mormon Wives because the Secret Lives team has truly popped off with a very shocking and yet, actually, dare I say, logical host choice. Demi will not be attending the reunion. On her IG story, the SLOMW star (and lowkey S2 villain) confirmed that while she was invited to the reunion — she simply couldn’t make it. The decision to film a reunion was allegedly “short notice,” and Demi had “nonrefundable” plans to take a family vaycay to Disneyland. Okay, Demi.
The rest of the cast, including the Mormon Wives and their husbands, is expected to appear. The promo for the show says both “#MomTok and #DadTok” will sit down “to uncover secrets and scandals, never-before-seen footage, and a surprise announcement,” as first reported by Variety.

While this is Nick’s first ever time on this side of the reunion couch, he has interviewed most of the Mormon Wives on his popular podcast, The Viall Files. And, while he wasn’t everyone’s Bachelor fave, with the huge talent his pod lands, Nick is hopefully pretty perfectly poised to nail this new reality TV era and get every last drop of tea from the crew, who should be pretty comfortable with him.
