I Guess MomTok Can Survive This! ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 2 Trailer Just Dropped

Grab your fruity pebbles and meet me at the soda shop!

I’ve technically never been to Utah, but after experiencing the cultural reset that is The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, I basically feel like an honorary resident ATP. I can’t say that I’d actually move there any time soon considering the fact that a fizzy soda pop isn’t going to take the edge off after a rough week for a girl like me. BUT, I am now a permanent resident of MomTok, who totally isn’t going survive if Hulu doesn’t give these Mormon Wives a season 2 immediately.

For those who have somehow managed to avoid getting sucked into the lore yet, let me be the straw that breaks your totally-not-camel-ish back. Would you believe that season 1 of Secret Lives has gifted viewers with an on-camera arrest, a surprise pregnancy, a Tinder cheating scandal, an age gap relationship that introduced the world to fruity pebbles sex, a stripper-related temper tantrum from an Affleck relative, ANOTHER surprise pregnancy and so much more Mormon drama all in its freshman debut??? Simply unheard of.

It seems like common sense that the geniuses at Hulu would graciously grant the world another chapter of the story about our favorite Book of Mormon readers. Luckily for us nosey neighbors in Utah and beyond, Hulu has made our dreams a reality! Here are all the season 2 details of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives we know so far.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 Trailer

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2 Release Date

Per the new trailer, the chaotic ladies will return to our screens on May 15!! According to TMZ, our favorite Mormon millennials were officially greenlit for a second season on October 2, 2024. Given how quickly the show infiltrated every corner of the internet, this renewal feels VERY well deserved. I mean, it’s not like Hulu was gonna cancel their most-watched unscripted show to date.

Secret Lives Season 2 Cast Announcement

The cast announcement for season 2 of Mormon Wives is finally here: Taylor Frankie Paul, Whitney Leavitt, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mikayla, and Mayci Neeley have all earned their second-season spot! So it looks like all of MomTok did survive this — at least for now. We’ll have to wait until season 2 to see who’s on the chopping block again.

Who is still friends on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season 2?

At the end of season 1, Whitney was on the outs with everyone while Taylor and Mayci were struggling in their friendship because of Maci’s intel about Dakota. It looks like since filming ended Whitney is still pretty much on her own island while Maci and Taylor have been able to mend fences. Another fire update about SLMW bestie alliances is that Taylor, Demi, and Jessi have dubbed themselves MomTok’s newest trio. Meanwhile, Jen Affleck is might be too busy dealing with her husband Zac’s Affleck family mess for friend time rn.
