Selena Gomez Is Giving Away Super Rare Memorabilia For, Like, Really Cheap

A true steal for a piece of Disney magic.

“Everything is not what it seems, when you can get what you want by the simplest of means…” So goes the theme song to the iconic Selena Gomez Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place. Those “simplest of means” on the show is, of course, the magic that the titular wizards possess. But, it can also just be five bucks. Scratch that… less than five bucks. One lucky fan got what they wanted — Selena Gomez’s wand from Wizards of Waverly Place — for only $4.

It’s a kind of unimaginably cheap price for piece of bonafide Disney memorabilia, not to mention the fact that most Selenators would use way more complicated means to try to get their hands on the wand. But, Selena sold her character Alex Russo’s Wizards wand for a mere $4 as part of her “12 Days of Rare Stuff” Rare Beauty campaign that she’s running on her website. It’s all part of the lead-up to the release of her first collab with fiancé Benny Blanco, an album called I Said I Love You First.

“Since my first album with Benny, I Said I Love You First, is about our past, present, and future,” Selena said to fans in an Instagram video, “I thought it would be fun to give away some ‘rare’ memories I’ve kept over the years every day until our album comes out. You’ve stuck with me for so long and with this album, that we wanted to do something special.”

Selena has been revisiting her magical past on Waverly Place quite a bit lately. She appeared in the premiere episode of the reboot series Wizards Beyond Waverly Place in 2024, although she’s just in the one and only episode. But maybe selling her wand has Selena feeling nostalgic and ready to step back into Alex Russo’s shoes even more? Maybe, or she might just feel like looking back on old memories. On March 18 (the same day she sold the wand, for those keeping track), she posted an adorable video of one of her original Disney Channel auditions with the caption: “We’re not getting any younger.”

In addition to her Wizards wand, Selena made another sale at a shockingly low price. Also part of the “12 Days of Rare Stuff” campaign, she sold a custom Jacquie Aiche diamond ring originally worth $3,250 for just $12. Selena’s keeping the campaign going and you can sign up here to try to nab more of her stuff. You might as well, because she’s basically giving it all away.
