A new lip product has entered the chat, and it’s courtesy of the makers of another viral lip treatment, Summer Fridays. The social media-loved brand nearly broke the internet with the launch of its Lip Butter Balm during quarantine, and now its very own lip oils are here too.
Available in four gorgeous shades: Blush Dream, Pink Cloud, Soft Mauve, Rosewood Nights—the Summer Fridays Dream Lip Oil is already making waves online and on vanities everywhere. While it’s already sold out at Sephora, you can still snag a trio on the Summer Fridays site, and individual hues at Revolve.
I was lucky enough to try it for the past few days, and as a longtime fan of the Lip Butter Balm, I might just have a few favorite lippie in my rotation. My favorite shade is the soft mauve, because it complements my skin tone the best (for reference, I have medium-toned skin with neutral undertones). If I feel like my face could use a little boost, the Pink Cloud shade really brings out the natural rosiness of my lips. And, both Blush Dreams and Rosewood Nights are great options for work or a night out.

Now, onto the formula. The most important thing to me is that lip products aren’t sticky, and this one sits super comfortably on my pout. It also has a slight hint of mint but nothing that feels overwhelming or too tingly. Since the applicator is on the spongy side, you can grab a good amount of product so there’s no need to constantly re-apply it throughout the day (although you totally can, if that’s your vibe).
I already know I’ll be rotating my everyday lip product between this and the balm, and one thing’s that for sure is that these lips will never be dry again.
