‘Tis the season of getting totally pressured into hosting Thanksgiving at your house *again* this year. And, regardless if this is your first rodeo or not, hosting a family holiday can legit be one of the most anxiety inducing events of the year. Not only are you supposed to make, like, 15 hot dishes with a single oven (I still don’t understand how people get shit on the table at the same time), but you’re also balancing multiple personalities in the family that don’t always get along — and that’s putting it lightly.

Personally, I got pretty tired of all the hoops I had to jump through to make the evening go smoothly. And, let’s be real, it’s not just an evening — it’s an entire 24 hour ordeal. So, over the years I’ve found a trick or two that let’s me continue the facade of being the millennial Martha Stewart while actually having a handle on all the pots that are about to boil over. Fake it til you make it, right? If you’re like me and hosting for the third time this year, here are some tips and ideas to get you through.
