As much as I love New York, when August rolls around, I look for any possible excuse to escape the city’s sweltering heat. So when I got the chance to head to Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City to try their new Girl Dinner experience, I had my weekender bag packed before I even requested PTO. Lol, oops.
This summer, their steak house is offering their version of Girl Dinner — the “Tini Meal,” which includes a dirty martini, caesar salad, and truffle fries (WAFFLE CUT!!) for $49 at the bar. Name a better combo, I’ll wait.
The Tini Meal Explained
I was able to try their Girl Dinner special and what can I say? *Chef’s kiss*
It’s basically the ultimate girlhood experience for dinner and a happy hour before a night out. Plus, it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a variety of options when dining (or can’t commit to one thing for more than five minutes). Ocean Steak lets you customize your Girl Dinner with your choice of a Dirty Martini, Lemon Drop Martini, or glass of wine for $44. It is possible to get all three, but you’ll pay extra. Worth it, imo.
And if you want an even better upgrade, you can add a Colossal Shrimp, Spicy Tuna Cracker, and Mini Crab Cocktail shooter to your Girl Dinner for $25. How fucking. cute, right? (Obviously, I got everything.)

Other Shit To Do At The Resort (Besides Eat Your Heart Out)
If waffle fries and martinis aren’t enough to lure you to Atlantic City, please get help. Omg, I’m joking. Ocean Casino Resort has plenty of other things to enjoy that make it worth the trip. For starters, the views are incredible. Our suite was decked out in the cutest decor for Girl Dinner and we could see the ocean from our bed. The hotel itself is gorgeous, and there’s so much to do including a spa (to forget all your problems), and a million outdoor pools that look like scenes from a Sabrina Carpenter music video. You can also go to the beach, obvs, and who doesn’t love that?
The nightlife is also amazing, and that’s saying something from someone who spent their 20s partying in the East Village. Whether you’re into clubs (s/o, HQ), lounges, or just want to gamble while sipping on a martini, there’s something for everyone. (You’ll find me drink in hand at the cabana.)
Summer isn’t over yet, so if you need to get the fuck out of the city (respectfully), Ocean Casino Resort is the perfect place to eat, drink, and gamble a little (or a lot, depending on your luck — I lost $20).
