We can all agree that we’re not watching season 3 of Bridgerton for the plot. We’re tuning in for the hottest, steamiest sex scenes on god’s favorite streaming service. Specifically, everyone and their mom is talking that carriage scene. And while the exact scene is a little tricky to play out in real life (the horse-drawn carriages in NYC don’t allow for much privacy), you can still live out your little Bridgerton fantasy and make it just as hot and heated — and you can even do it all in your Toyota Camry.
Not everyone is a big fan of car sex, but I am not one of those people. While having sex in a bed for sure allows for so much more room and comfort, there’s just something about wanting someone so severely right there, right now, that you have to pull over and just fuck them. It just makes car sex so deliciously satisfying.
But I hear you! It can feel awkward, uncomfortable, and super cramped — but that’s only if you don’t know the right positions to try.
Here are some of the best car sex positions you can try so that you can comfortably role-play the now-famous carriage scene.
Let’s start with the basics. One of the easiest things to do is have your partner sit in the seat regularly and then climb on top and get things going. Just be mindful of your head hitting the roof (unless you’re into that!).
Fair warning: This may cause your legs to cramp a little if you stay in this position for too long, so remember to switch it up. Your partner should sit in a seat, and you should sit on top of them, facing them. But this is different from the Seated Cowgirl mentioned above because instead of just having your shins on the seat, you’re going to bend your legs so that your feet are on the seats, and you can bounce up and down by holding onto your partner’s shoulders.
If you’re feeling really adventurous, try having your partner sit in the back seat and then sit on top of them so that you’re facing the seat in front of you. Then, bend your legs and put your feet up against the seat you’re facing. Your partner will grab the backs of your thighs and lift you up and down.
Yes, you read that right. If you and your partner aren’t too tall, you can manage to lay horizontally in the backseat and fuck while you’re spooning. And even if you are a little tall, just bend your legs a little.
I know it sounds like you have to get bent in all sorts of ways, but I promise this position isn’t that difficult. Get in the backseat and lay horizontally facing the back of the car (so you’re resting on your shoulder). Then, open your legs like a clam and have your partner face you with one leg bent and placed on the seat and the other on the ground for support.
Instead of regular missionary, lie back in the backseat and have your partner get on their knees in front of you. Then, place your feet on their shoulders. They just have to make sure to bend forward so that their head doesn’t hit the roof of the car.
