Former Bachelorette and professional ray of sunshine Gabby Windey is stepping back into the spotlight. Gabby is back on primetime as a cast member of season 3 of The Traitors, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who is curious about what the dating diva has been up to since season 19 back in 2022. If you’ve been keeping up with Gabby at all since the show, then you may remember her “big” dating announcement made on The View the summer after her season wrapped. Luckily, there have been even more updates in her love life since then. Here’s a look at Gabby Windey’s relationship history, right on for her time for her big TV return.

Gabby Windey’s Dating History

Who is Gabby Windey’s girlfriend?

Gabby announced she was in a relationship with comedian and talk show host Robby Hoffman. Robby was Gabby’s first relationship with a woman but Gabby quickly fell for the Brooklyn comedian because of the way she made Gabby feel “so safe” and “so loved.” Robby writes for comedic TV shows and hosts the Too Far podcast. The couple has been together for over a year and a half.

What has Gabby Windey said about her sexuality?

In August 2023, Gabby decided to open her “private” new relationship up to a “bigger conversation” during an appearance on The View. At the time, Gabby had just entered her first same-sex relationship a few months prior to sitting down with Whoopi, Joy, and the gal pals. As Gabby shared, her breakup with her fiance Erich from The Bachelorette gave her the chance to listen to a “whisper” in her mind that got “louder and louder” about her romantic interest in women.

After “navigat[ing] the shame” that can naturally come with exploring your sexuality, Gabby was ready to follow her heart and “figure it out later.” She told the talk show hosts she believes she’s a “girl’s girl” for life when it comes to dating in the future, no matter where her current relationship goes.

On the new season of The Traitors, Gabby joked that her season of The Bachelorette ended with her being “a lesbian.” She often documents her relationship with Robby and her sexuality on her TikTok.

When did Gabby and Erich Schwer break up?

Gabby and Erich cut things off just two months after their on-air engagement. The couple originally got engaged at the end of her joint season of The Bachelorette, which wrapped in September 2022. Gabby, who was a Dancing with the Stars contestant at the time, shared that Erich simply wasn’t her “best match” because they were different when it came to “common goals” and “the way [they approached] life.” The news came weeks into the show after Erich had previously been seen cheering her on from the audience. Erich agreed there was no “one thing to put your finger on” when it came to their differences, but he was “grateful” for the experience and regretted nothing.

Was Gabby on The Bachelor?

Gabby first entered Bachelor Nation when she appeared on season 26 of The Bachelor in 2021, with the prince question being Clayton Echard. Both Gabby and her future Bachelorette sister Rachel were chopped from Clayton’s roster after the hometown dates so he could pursue his true love, Susie.
