In a preview clip for the August 13 episode, the iconic singer shared that she has a brand new album coming titled The Life of a Showgirl. I suspect we’ll get more album info when the full episode airs, so stay tuned, Swifties.

The nation is still recovering from the double whammy of Taylor appearing on New Heights and Taylor announcing her next album, but on top of that, we also just got a very interesting Travis GQ cover story to analyze. During his chat with the outlet, the Chiefs tight end opened up about the start of his and Taylor’s relationship and how they fell in love. He also gushed about her (truly insane) work ethic. According to Travis, his and Taylor’s ~love story~ happened very “organically” and was “normal.” He explained, “It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out…Even though from a media standpoint, it was being tracked. It still happened very organically.”

“Nothing I’ve ever done has been a controlled, organized process,” the athlete emphasized. “When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.” Travis believes that he and Taylor bonded because they’re “two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are.” He noted that their romance “kind of just took the fuck off.”

Travis and Taylor may be America’s It Couple, constantly swarmed by paparazzi and fans whenever they step outside, but Travis emphasized that they’re really just like us. “Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people,” he said. “When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love.” Just two very beautiful, very athletic, very wealthy, totally regular people.

Travis appreciates how he and Taylor can connect over living life in the public eye and having a bazillion loving fans. “I hadn’t experienced somebody in the same shoes as me, having a partner who understands the scrutiny, understands the ups and downs of being in front of millions,” he reflected. “That was very relatable, seeing how exhausted she would get after shows. He also described his GF as “electric” (classic Travis vocab) and admired her Eras Tour stamina. “You’re doing a show for three hours with a lot of energy, bringing it every single song,” he noted. “That is arguably more exhausting than how much I put in on a Sunday, and she’s doing it three, four, five days in a row.” True…

These days, the NFL star says he just wants to be “respected and loved” by people at work. Travis added, “I want to leave it better than where it was when I started. And I see her having those same values.”
