The NFL star and the pop icon have been dating for a year and a half now, and they’re both in their mid-thirties, so a proposal around this time would make sense. And a proposal after the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl (again)? That would be one of the most insane pop culture moments to ever occur. The Dads, Brads, and Chads would simply implode.

During an opening night event in New Orleans on February 3, a reporter bluntly asked Travis if he would pop the question to Taylor if the Chiefs take the W. Gotta admire their commitment to hard-hitting Tayvis journalism. Travis smirked and playfully responded, “Wouldn’t you like to know.” We would. We would like to know.

Naturally, that’s not the only time Taylor came up during the press conference. The tight end was also asked about his GF’s cooking and he was more than happy to compliment it. “Oh, she’s quite the cook,” he gushed. “I’m a breakfast guy, man. I would say her homemade Pop Tarts are unbelievable.” If I had a nickel for every time a celeb mentions these damn pop tarts, my net worth would be close to Tay’s.

He also reflected on holding up his “end of the bargain” for Taylor. “She’s up there being the superstar that she is and never taking no for an answer and always working her tail off,” he said at the event. “I better match that energy for sure.” I fear she took many no’s for an answer at the Grammys. Six to be exact. So perhaps he shouldn’t match that energy…

Although Taylor doesn’t do press conferences about Travis, she did sport a thigh-chain “T” tribute to him at the Grammys. It was giving High School Musical, as she and Travis so often do.
