In just over a week and a half, athletes, actors, and musicians will be headed to Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII to watch the Kansas City Chiefs are face off against the San Francisco 49ers. The Chiefs and 49ers have both played in the Super Bowl—and won—before, but we’re not here to talk about that.
We’re here to talk about all the silly little gossip and nonsense that *may* happen at the game.
From Taylor Swift sprinting from Tokyo to Las Vegas just in time to see her boyfriend and Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, play in his fourth Super Bowl to a famous former NFL player maybe going Super Bowl Official with his girlfriend, I’ve broken down a few of my off-the-field predictions for the night.
Will any of this happen? Possibly. Will I pay attention to who gets a penalty and what yard each team is on? Definitely not.

Taylor Swift *Will* Make It To The Game
As this X user pointed out, the time difference between Tokyo and Las Vegas is working in her favor. Her last show in Tokyo for the Eras Tour is on Saturday night, and the game in Las Vegas is the next day.
I honestly can’t imagine a world where Swift *doesn’t* show up. She has a private jet where she can likely rest ahead of the big game, after all!

And no, I don’t think Kelce will put a ring on it if they win. My money is still on Christmas 2024 for that.
Taylor Swift Will Bring New Friends
Oh, you thought I was done with my Swift predictions? Please…I’m an unhinged Swiftie *and* purveyor of sports nonsense.
We’ve already seen Swift bring a few familiar faces to Chiefs games during the regular season. From Blake Lively to Cara Delevingne, Swift always has her BFFs with her to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs.

One face we haven’t seen this season is one of Swift’s oldest friends, Selena Gomez. Give! The! People! What! We! Want!
Maybe Rare Beauty is already doing their own suite situation, but it would be so perfect to have Gomez in a box with Swift.

Hear me out: Kelly Clarkson is currently in Las Vegas for her residency. Swift sends Clarkson gifts after each album re-release, which may be because of a tweet Clarkson sent in 2019 suggesting Swift re-record her albums.

Retired NFL legend Tom Brady has been spotted going out with model Irina Shayk on multiple occasions. Are they exclusive? Are they boyfriend-girlfriend?
I! Must! Know! Regardless, I have a feeling that they will be seen at the game and use it as a soft launch of their relationship.
Here’s why I think this is going to happen: The attention will be focused on the game (obviously), the halftime show with Usher (can’t wait), and Ms. Taylor Alison Swift (yes, please).
The cameras are booked and busy! I feel like we may get one jumbotron shot of them for .2 seconds, and they won’t be spoken about again—a proper softish launch.
