The Best Reactions On The Internet To That Carriage Scene In ‘Bridgerton’

It's getting hot in here.

I, for one, am not the same woman I was before watching The Carriage Scene. Yes, I’m speaking of the steamiest three or four minutes in television history — the ending of Bridgerton season 3 episode 4. After the slowest friends-to-lovers burn of the century, Colin finally confesses his feelings to Penelope, and they share a ~passionate~ few moments together with the carriage curtains wide open ’cause they’re progressive. Sabrina Carpenter famously once said, “Come and get this Polin.” (Mhm, she definitely sings Polin not pollen.) And so we are. I don’t think any of us stans need reminders to keep going back to Netflix to watch this scene on repeat and drool.

The cycle goes like this: Watch, shriek/cry, tweet, feel unwell, repeat. Thank heavens there’s a massive community of like-minded and humorous individuals to help us process this life-changing piece of media. Chronically online Bridgerton addicts everywhere are crafting brilliant memes and sharing highly intelligent commentary about the ridiculously hot scene… I’d like to thank you all for making me feel understood. Here are my favorite reactions to Polin getting frisky in the carriage.
