Nobody Panic But Travis Kelce Is Talking About Having A Baby

Things I didn’t know about Travis Kelce: One, he hosts a show called Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? where a contestant has to answer trivia questions using only the help of a classroom full of celebrities. And two, apparently he’s already talking about fatherhood.

Swifties, I need you to reign it in. Travis didn’t necessarily say that he’s planning on having children anytime soon, but he did seem excited at the idea of having children because of the insinuation that having kids makes your smarter.

On a recent episode of his very odd game show, Travis was joined by retired NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick who told him that becoming a parent makes you “wiser.” Travis used his incredible deduction skills to ask, “Is that what happens when you have kids? You become smarter?” And when Ryan doubled down, Travis seemed to be extremely excited in saying, “Man, that’s all I had to do to become brilliant?”

Now, there seems to have been some things lost in translation here, but you could basically see the wheels turning in Travis’ head after Ryan told him to “Just have a baby!” I truly hope Travis knows that having a baby won’t actually make him brilliant, but hey, am I smarter than a celebrity? Who knows.

So does this mean that there might be a Traylor or Tayvis baby sometime in the future? I’d say we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves. The couple has been going strong for over a year now but they’re still in the stage where rumors of a future engagement are the only thing that’s swirling in the air right now.

But this wouldn’t be the first time that Travis has publicly spoken about kids and wanting them. On his podcast New Heights with his brother Jason, Travis has said that he can’t wait to have kids of his own and even wants to name one of them Conan after Arnold Schwarzenegger’s movie Conan the Barbarian.

There have even been instances of “insider sources” telling magazines that Travis wants to speed up the timeline of his relationship with Taylor. So a Taylor and Travis mini family could be something we see later down the line if they continue to get more serious.

One thing’s for sure: Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, approves of him becoming a father one day! When she shared a sweet Facebook video of Travis meeting his new niece, Finn, someone commented: “Trav’s going to make a wonderful father, just like Jason!” Swifties were quick to notice that Donna “liked” that comment.

Welp, I’m sure Travis and Taylor will both be amazing parents if they do have a kid (or a few) one day.
